Technology and Enaction : Perception, Social cognition and Fields of possibility

Abstract
The purpose of this presentation is to propose a way to understand the relations between enaction and technique, and thus between living organisms and technical object. I shall defend the thesis of the constituent role of techniques, both for individual cognition and for social activities. This raises the questions of Agentivity, Externalism and the Relations between individual and social cognition, questions that we find in the 4E approaches in cognitive science (Embodied, Enacted, Embedded, Extended,…and often Emotional, Social). Our approach is technological and experimental. I will therefore present a minimalist experimental method for the fundamental study of human techniques in cognitive and social activities : perception of space and perceptual crossing.
